Why Businesses Love SAM Networking

I was a little networked out when I joined SAM networking as all seemed very ‘samey’. Oh not SAM Networking!! There is such energy in the room when you walk in, people say Hi to you and welcome you, especially Sam. It’s fun, wacky and hilarious and really helps you to get to know the people behind the businesses. I had to join the online meeting when I relocated and was worried it wouldn’t be the same as the in-person meetings – how wrong was I !! Still high energy, fun and hilarious – where has SAM networking been all my life? I love SAM networking and it is now the only one I do. I highly recommend you come and join.

I joined SAM Networking in March after moving down here last year and deciding to open another office in Huddersfield. I have networked in the North East and North Yorkshire for many years. But Sam Networking is something special. Sam is fantastic, she gets it and knows all the right things to do to ensure a successful group. And she is very choosey about who is good enough to take a seat at one of her tables. Other networking groups say that but do not always adhere to these standards in my experience. What a fantastic welcome I received from a great bunch of people who are all like-minded and full of enthusiasm for their businesses. I joined straight away. Two Expos, a charity ball, two barbecues, and two Christmas parties and over two years later I feel like a valued member of a very successful team. Would I join anywhere else? Would I chuff!

I joined SAM Networking initially because I needed to broaden my client base over Halifax way – it was purely transactional. It very quickly became apparent that SAM Networking is so much more than what I anticipated. The group is inclusive, supportive, fun, engaging – everyone is just decent – in it for the group – not just for themselves. I’ve won a ton of business but for me that’s not what is truly important – it’s the caring element – everyone has got your back and wants you to succeed. This is down to the individuals within the group but this wouldn’t be possible without the amazing Sam. She spots the individuals who will work well within the group – markets it superbly (she is a marketer so it would be a crying shame if she couldn’t do this bit well) and does this with a chuffing smile on her face. Would highly recommend this group to anyone (unless you work in HR in which case you can do one!)

I’d been invited a few times to visit SAM Networking and did wonder why it was getting so much attention. I am so glad I took the plunge and visited the Leeds/Bradford group. Within a few months I was giving and getting referrals and earned over £15,000 in my first year. SAM is the heart of what proper networking is all about. You don’t have to be bat sh*t crazy but it helps!

I’ve experienced both online and in-person networking with Sam’s groups. They’re run professionally and full of really good, enthusiastic business owners. For me, there is an enjoyable, more relaxed atmosphere. Despite this approach, it doesn’t stop the flow of genuine, ongoing business referrals and collaborations. Definitely one of my favourite networking groups. I’d also like to add that Sam turned out to be taller than I’d imagined and nothing like an Oompa Lumpa. (I had only seen Sam on Zoom until a few months ago!).
